In another example, a Healthstat physician worked in a manufacturing plant that had been seeing 3 recordable injuries a day. With management on board, his Occupational Health team went onto the production floor to listen to workers down the line. Glad to be heard, the employees helped the assessment team get to the bottom of where and how injuries were occurring. The result? A 92% reduction in the recordable injury rate.
